Grifols in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Center Medical Specialist for our plasma donation centers. You will perform donor evaluations, educate donors about general health, and help ensure donor and staff confidentiality.

Candidates must be licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state, CPR certified, and ready to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment with growth opportunities.

Formación

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of employment.
• CPR certification required.
• Proven ability to educate donors about general health.

Responsabilidades

• Perform physical examination and determine donor suitability.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure overall satisfaction.
• Ensure donor and staff confidentiality.
• Educate donors about potential hazards and health information.
• Provide counseling regarding test results and health implications.
• Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events.
• Review donor history of illness or medications for ongoing suitability.
• Assist in employee training.
• Administer employee Hepatitis vaccine program.

Job Requirements

• Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocation Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
