Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses.
Assess patients, monitor and record vital signs, and report changes in condition.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist with wound care, dressings, and other nursing procedures.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and post-care instructions.
Follow infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols.
Comply with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Maintain all required certifications, training, and employment-related documentation.
Graduation from an accredited educational institution
A degree from an accredited school of Nursing
An active, current LPN license in applicable state or reciprocation and must be in good standing
1+ years’ full‑time LPN experience in a correctional setting
BLS through American Heart Association or equivalent
