ARMStaffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Post-Acute Care unit in Middlebury, VT. This 12-hour night shift role focuses on rehabilitation and recovery for adults 60+, with responsibilities including medication administration, phlebotomy, EKGs, and patient transport.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience and LPN licensure. EPIC documentation experience within the last 2 years is required, with IV certification and dementia-care

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
• LPN license in good standing.
• Experience with the EPIC documentation system within the past 2 years.
• IV Certification preferred for LPNs.
• Dementia-capable care certification preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Post-Acute Care unit, which specializes in skilled nursing rehabilitation for patients aged 60 and above. The nursing team will provide care in a dynamic environment, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide nursing care as per protocols.
• Conduct phlebotomy, EKGs, and transport patients as necessary.
• Manage patient care plans and monitor vital signs.
• Provide support for patients with dementia and ensure their comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is required.
• IV Certification is preferred for LPNs.
• Experience with the EPIC documentation system within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
• Dementia-capable care certification is preferred.
