Job summary

Vibra Permanent Staffing in Lafayette, LA seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night‑shift, full‑time LTAC/ICU position at Louisiana Extended Care Hospital.

Deliver hands‑on nursing care, collaborate with RNs and physicians, monitor patients, administer meds, and document care while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

BLS required; ACLS within 90 days; 1+ year LTAC/ICU experience preferred; compassionate, team‑oriented; eligible for benefits.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Louisiana or a compact state.
• 1+ year of acute care, LTAC, or ICU experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on nursing care to patients with complex medical needs.
• Work with RNs, physicians, and the care team to support care plans.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications and basic treatments, and document care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Ensure care complies with facility policies and regulatory standards.
