Job summary

Methodist Specialty Care Center in Flowood, MS is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) at our MSCC facility.

You will provide direct resident care, coordinate with Respiratory Therapists on tracheostomies and ventilators, and work with CNAs to ensure high-quality services. Candidates must hold an active Mississippi LPN license and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in Mississippi.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents.
• Deliver direct care and address medical and psychosocial needs.
• Collaborate with Respiratory Therapists on tracheostomies and ventilators.
• Interact with residents daily and build supportive relationships.
• Coordinate with Medical Director to facilitate care.
• Assist management and staff to enhance facility operations.
• Oversee and direct care provided by CNAs.
