Starr Regional Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Long Term Care in a per diem role with PRN weekend rotation. You will work under an RN to support patient assessments, wound care, and daily living activities.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Graduate of an LPN program.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Certifications: BCLS within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Licenses: Active Tennessee LPN license (single-state or compact). If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new PSOR before employment begins.

• Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication; documents patient care.
• Assists RN with development of plan of care.

• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

How you'll contribute

ALong Term Care LPNwho excels in this role:

• Certifications: BCLS within 30 days of hire/transfer
• Licenses: Active TennesseeLPN license (single-state or compact) required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
