Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• A minimum of two years of nursing and/or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current LPN license in the State of Iowa.
• Must obtain CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• Iowa abuse mandatory reporter training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN in documenting nursing process and patient care.
• Assists with initial and follow-up assessments as directed.
• Contributes to the resident care plan and implements interventions.
• Evaluates resident progress and communicates findings to the team.
• Supervises unlicensed personnel and delegates tasks accordingly.
• Coordinates services across the continuum of care.
• Provides resident/family education and protects resident rights.
• Participates in staff development and committee activities.
• Supports professional growth and shares educational updates.
