Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in our Mandan, ND long‑term care setting. You will work 12-hour day shifts (6:00am–6:30pm), including every third weekend and rotating holidays, under supervision by a registered nurse or physician.

You will administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitor residents’ status, and document outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and become a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• If required, IV therapy/management skills per North Dakota Board of Nursing: Board-approved AASPN program with IV or an approved IV Therapy course.
• Pre-licensure program with clinical experience across lifespan or at least 400 hours as LPN.
• Unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board; maintain required competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents under supervision.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, meds, behavior, and diet.
• Collaborate with health care professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team.
