Job summary

Ascension Living is seeking an LPN for our Brookfield, WI location in Franciscan Place. This full-time day shift role supports the long-term care department by collecting data for RN analysis, administering medications, and performing routine labs and therapies.

The ideal candidate holds an LPN/LVN license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a current BLS certification. Expect proactive patient education and strong safety awareness within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year job-specific experience
• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN
• Administer medications and observe patients for adverse reactions
• Perform routine laboratory tests and simple therapeutic services
• Educate patients and families about disease treatment plans, self-care post discharge, and available resources
• Ensure resident safety by identifying hazards and emergency situations and taking corrective action
