Sweetwater Care in California is seeking an LPN with management experience to oversee nursing care within the facility guidelines and standards. The role requires timely medication administration, patient and family education, and close coordination with physicians and other departments.

The ideal candidate will have a current LPN license in the state, LTC experience, and familiarity with POINT CLICK CARE electronic charting to support quality improvement initiatives and patient care continuity.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in your state.
• One-year nursing management experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience required.
• Experience with electronic charting system POINT CLICK CARE.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of Infection Control policies.
• Supports and participates in Quality Improvement activities.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual to identify and monitor patient programs.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (rooms, admits, discharges).
• Educates patients and families.
• Administers medications timely per facility policy.
• Delivers treatments timely per facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders per Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians as needed.
