Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Infection Control Manual.
Participates in Quality Improvement Program.
Utilizes Quality Life Manual for patient identification and monitoring.
Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge).
Conducts family and patient education.
Administers medications timely and per facility policy.
Administers treatments timely and per facility policy.
Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
Makes rounds with physicians as needed.
