Job summary

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a LPN at CHI St. Francis Health, you will help our patients by providing nursing care to our skilled nursing residents under the direction of the physician or registered nurse.

Every day you will work with our patients to evaluate their needs and provide physical or psychosocial care.

To be successful in this role, you must have a genuine compassion for your patients’ well-being and understand the role you play in helping our our patients feel at ease. You also have the patience to explain the process, answer questions and update documentation.

You will provide treatment and personal care services to our residents by performing the following duties:

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Completes all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Administers, conducts, directs and supervises resident related care and activities on assigned unit.

We are offering a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Nursing students and licensed nurses interested in working in a nursing home also may now qualify for up to $40,000 in student loan repayment and/or a $10,000 stipend in exchange for a three-year commitment to serve in a qualifying nursing home in a rural or higher labor-shortage area through CMS.
