Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining nursing service objectives, goals, and standards aligned with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
2. Evaluating staffing needs to meet resident care requirements in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.
3. Administering medication and treatments as prescribed.
4. Receiving, transcribing, and implementing physician’s orders.
5. Implementing and evaluating care plans.
6. Securing necessary equipment and supplies.
7. Supervising and directing staff.
8. Participating in duty assignments and organizing tasks and schedules.
9. Monitoring staff performance and providing feedback, discipline, or training as needed.
10. Ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
11. Investigating and documenting accidents or incidents.

LPN Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing.
• Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
