Quality Correctional Health Care in Hoover, AL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN Day Shift to provide nursing services in a correctional environment under physician supervision. The role requires an accredited school completion, LPN license, CPR, and at least one year of clinical experience, with preference for correctional health care experience.
Typical duties include medication administration, patient intake, documentation, emergencies, and supporting training of new staff;

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Site Administrator/Coordinator the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing services to patients within a correctional environment. The LPN delivers nursing care as directed by the Physician within the scope of the State Board of Nursing Practice for the LPN.
Pay Rate: $22-$23/hr

Successful completion of an Accredited Vocational/Technical School
Current and valid LPN or LVN license
Current CPR
Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a health care setting as as LPN. One year experience in a correctional health care setting is preferred.
