Location: Halifax County Jail

Open Position: PRN LPN or RN - Days Schedule

Shifts: 12-hour PRN Days shifts

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing patient care, evaluating symptoms, reactions, and progress
• Charting results, establishing nursing plans, working within State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and with Physician/Provider(s)
• Administering prescribed medications according to nursing standards and correctional regulations
• Following through with treatment plans
• Performing emergency interventions, physical assessments, and applying critical thinking
