Responsibilities

• Make independent decisions when needed.
• Interact tactfully with residents, families, staff and visitors.
• Follow nursing practices, policies and long-term care regulations.
• Supervise and assist other staff as needed.
• Communicate resident condition changes to physicians.
• Administer medications as ordered and document accordingly.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and care plans are followed.
• Complete charting per policy and participate in staff orientation.
