Adoration Health is in search of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for home health care in Dothan, Alabama. The LPN will provide expert, patient-centered care to clients while adhering to their specific care plans.

Qualifications

Office Location: Dothan
Coverage area: Pike, Dale, Houston Areas
Schedule: Full Time Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. No Weekends or Holidays

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 care for clients following their plan of care at all times while maintaining client dignity and independence
• Administering medications, feedings, oxygen, ostomy care as needed per client plan of care and provided assessments of results
• Accurately documenting nursing actions of all care given and communicating with family, case manager, and physicians as well as documenting progress and outcomes for established goals and informing physicians, case managers, and families of changes in client medical condition and needs
• Coordinating or ordering supplies, medications, and feedings as needed to insure adequate amounts are always on hand
• Ensuring all patient needs are being met in accordance with the instructions of the physician

Qualifications

• LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing with current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice and in the state of residence
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and proof of car insurance
• CPR professional certification
• 1+ years of nursing experience preferred
• Home health care experience preferred
