LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse / Facility Based Crisis / Forsyth / DAY SHIFT / Full Time: $2,500 Sign On Bonus

Type: Regular

Performs nursing functions and consumer care at a Facility Based Crisis Center including assessment, care, and treatment of clients at the facility; must adhere to standards of care as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and RHA. This position relies on knowledge, experience, and judgment with limited supervision and direction to provide quality services to crisis facility clients.

• 12‑hour shifts
• 1st Shift: 7 A - 7 P
• PRN opportunities

Shift Differential

• 10% Weekday Nights
• 10% Weekend Days
• 15% Weekend Nights

Job Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and interventions with medication oversight and administration as needed.
• Report client’s social, psychological and physical behavior as indicated.
• Implement and ensure compliance with standards of nursing practice that promote optimal health care delivery and meet regulatory requirements.
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance with confidentiality regulations, HIPAA, national accreditation agencies and Continuous Quality Improvement, attending applicable meetings as necessary.
• Use state guidelines, Quality Assurance Plan and Client Rights Policy to ensure that clinical operations comply with state regulations and update plans and policies as necessary.
• Perform supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, making recommendations for hiring, training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, motivating, disciplining and promoting team performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

• Active and current LPN Licensure in state of employment.
• 2 years’ experience as a nurse working with behavioral health clients, preferred.
• Working knowledge of psychoactive substance abuse, dependency and principles and techniques based on best practices; commitment to evidence‑based treatment and preventative methods.
• Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance required.

• Drug testing.
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
• Proof of employment history or references (if required).
