Job summary

Pine Acres Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Madison, NJ seeks LPNs and new nurse graduates to join a caring team. We provide training, orientation and support to help you grow.

As an LPN, you will assist CNAs, administer medications, monitor residents, document care, and collaborate with RNs and physicians to ensure patient wellbeing in a warm, family-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• New nurse graduates and LPNs welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assisting CNAs in ADL and routine care.
• Conducting resident/patient treatments.
• Administering medication per physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Submitting pharmacy orders.
• Documenting and recording all information.
• Giving injections as prescribed.
• Observing health and communicating with RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians.
• Taking vital signs (BP, temp, weight).
• Basic care including wound cleaning and bandaging.
• Managing IVs, starting IV drips.
• Monitoring intake/output.
• Observing and reporting incidents and skin breakdowns.
• Assisting in admissions process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting CNAs in performing ADL and routine care.
• Conducting resident/patient treatments.
• Administering medication in accordance with physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Submitting pharmacy orders.
• Accurately documenting and recording all information.
• Giving injections of medication as prescribed.
• Observing resident health to communicate current condition to RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians.
• Taking vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature and weight.
• Basic care, including wound cleaning and bandaging.
• Managing IVs, starting IV drips.
• Monitoring fluid/food intake and output.
• Observing and reporting resident accidents, incidents and the presence of skin breakdowns.
• Assisting as directed in the admissions process.
