Job summary

Avalon Rehabilitation & Care Center seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Wayne, NJ. This facility-style role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, coordinating with RNs and CNAs, and documenting care for our residents in long-term care settings.

We value new graduates as well as experienced LPNs, offering training, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement in a supportive, family-like culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in New Jersey.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Monitor residents’ health, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Provide emotional support and build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

We’re currently seeking enthusiastic Licensed Practical Nurses to join our growing family—whether you're a seasoned professional or a newly licensed LPN graduate ready to start your journey in long-term care.

We are seeking mostly 3PM-11PM and 11PM to 7AM shifts.

What You’ll Do as Licensed Practical Nurse:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans

• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes

• Monitor residents’ health, administer medications, and document care accurately

• Provide emotional support and build meaningful relationships with residents and their families

What We’re Looking For in our LPNs:
