Job summary

Rockville Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Skilled Nursing facility. The role involves patient care, med administration, vital signs, and coordination with physicians. The LPN will supervise CNAs and engage in resident education to enhance overall well-being.

Shifts are 7AM-3PM with alternate weekends required. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits are offered in a geriatric care environment.

Qualifications

• Current NY LPN license required.
• Experience in geriatric long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, including IVs where applicable.

Rockville Center is searching for a talented and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team.

The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Job Description:

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs
