We provide residential and community services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges. Job Summary

• Support individuals with Intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health challenges in a group home setting
• Emphasis of this position is to provide a day-to-day variety of nursing care to the people we support by using and maintaining established nursing objectives to the highest standard while adhering to current laws and regulations

Job Responsibilities

Provide care and treatment of individuals which may include physical health issues/injuries and difficulties meeting daily living activities.

Accompany clients to medical appointments.

The ideal candidate will display exceptional team building, mentoring, and leadership qualities.

Provide staff training and support.

Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual and program needs.

Full time/hourly position; hours include days, evenings, and weekend shifts.

Physical Demand

Ability to exert moderate physical activity (requires ambulation and use of all limbs), Possess the physical stamina to deal with medical emergencies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Maintain LPN certification(s)
• Must have a valid driver's license for minimum of 3 years.
• Good driving record, and access to own transportation
• Criminal background check required
• Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and/or mental health issues preferred.
• Must have exceptional communication skills in interactions with consumers, staff, families, and the community.
• One-year commitment
