Job summary

Hamilton Health Care Center is seeking PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team on flexible shifts at our Ohio facility. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care and supporting residents and staff as needed.

As a PRN LPN, you will conduct assessments, assist with admissions and discharges, provide wound care, and lead CNAs and CMTs while adhering to facility protocols and emergency response procedures.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure/certification required.
• PRN nursing role with flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, follow protocol, report medical or behavioral changes, and document findings.
• Perform admission duties: complete assessment, MAR, TAR, POS, review chart set-up, physician orders, and order medications.
• Manage discharges: complete documentation, notify physician and guardian, and arrange transportation.
• Provide wound care: follow protocols, irrigate, pack, and remove dressings.
• Lead CNAs and CMTs, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and policies.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations.
