Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a licensed LVN/LPN to provide nursing care within the scope of practice to ensure patients’ needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies, and state, federal and local guidelines.

This role involves documenting changes in patient conditions, following charting procedures, narcotic counting, and rounds with physicians as needed, with preference for long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Long-term care experience.
• PointClickCare charting experience.
• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.
• BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures for charting and incident reporting.
• Follow procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Document changes in patient conditions including nutrition, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or other notices.
• Utilize the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
• Document and notify departments of room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.


• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.


• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
