Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an LPN to join our skilled nursing team. Earn up to $35/hour with a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and daily pay options. We provide competitive salary, insurance, uniforms, and employee perks, plus recognition meals and resort-style perks.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.
• LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration and treatments.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges of residents.
• Document resident care in medical records.
• Educate residents and families about treatment and status changes.
• Adhere to infection control policies and facility procedures.
• Consult with physician regarding plan of care and notify of changes.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy.
• Ensure quality of care per DOH and facility standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to resolve resident issues.

Duties Include:

• Medication administration and treatments.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharging of residents
• Document resident care services by charting in resident medical record and department records.
• Educate residents regarding treatment, rehabilitation, change of status, etc… as well as family members.
• Adhering to infection control policies and procedures as well as all other facility policies and procedures.
• Consult with resident’s physician regarding resident’s plan of care as well as notifying them of any changes.
• Maintain resident’s confidentiality and privacy.
• Assure quality of care by adhering to DOH standards of practice and facility standards of care.
• Assist with solving resident’s problems by working with the interdisciplinary team.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.
