Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Forest Hills, TN seeks an LPN to provide compassionate nursing care in a skilled nursing setting. The role features top pay, weekly and daily pay options, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

You will administer medications, assist with admissions, transfers and discharges, document care, educate residents and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care and infection control compliance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge of residents.
• Document resident care in medical records and department records.
• Educate residents regarding treatment, rehabilitation, and plan of care for residents and families.
• Adhere to infection control policies and facility policies and procedures.
• Consult with resident’s physician regarding plan of care and notify of changes.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality of care.

Available Shifts:Day shift, Night Shift, Full time, Part time, Per Diem.

Duties Include:

• Medication administration and treatments.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharging of residents
• Document resident care services by charting in resident medical record and department records.
• Educate residents regarding treatment, rehabilitation, change of status, etc… as well as family members.
• Adhering to infection control policies and procedures as well as all other facility policies and procedures.
• Consult with resident’s physician regarding resident’s plan of care as well as notifying them of any changes.
• Maintain resident’s confidentiality and privacy.
• Assure quality of care by adhering to DOH standards of practice and facility standards of care.
• Assist with solving resident’s problems by working with the interdisciplinary team.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.
