Job summary

Bride Brook is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care in a 130-bed, 5-star facility. A $3,500 sign-on bonus is offered, with a pay rate starting at $32/hr and benefits including PTO, holidays, medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k).

The role also emphasizes supervision of CNAs and adherence to care plans and regulations. The LPN will assess residents, administer medications, participate in care planning, supervise staff, and ensure accurate documentation.

Purpose of Your Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job Position

The primary purpose of your position as a Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN in the Nursing Home environment is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs and other nursing personnel. To monitor the performance of CNAs, nursing and non-licensed personnel, Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN provide education and counseling, perform disciplinary action as necessary, and complete performance evaluations. Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesof Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

• Assesses patients by physical examination, including pertinent diagnostic testing to determine health status.

• Documents assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy.
• Educates patients and their families on health-related issues.
