Job summary

Central Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center has openings for Licensed Practical Nurses to assist with resident care in our sub-acute rehab and skilled nursing facility. We currently offer full-time and part-time positions with shifts from 7am-3:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm, and 11pm-7:30am.

A tuition reimbursement program for RN programs is available, and benefits include health/dental/vision coverage, a 401K with employer contribution, generous PTO, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Current NY State LPN license is required.
• Excellent work ethic and caring, compassionate personality.
• Ability to supervise CNAs may be required.
• Commitment to resident safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Record health details of residents, including vitals and temperature.
• Administer medications and injections as needed.
• Treat wounds and bedsores; assist with personal care.
• Supervise CNAs as assigned and ensure resident comfort.
• Monitor intake/output and support nutrition.
• Assist residents with dressing and personal hygiene.

$27-$31.01/HR plus shift differential

Evening shift differential: $7

Night shift differential: $3

Weekend shift differential: $3

OPENINGS FOR SHIFTS: 7am-3:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm, 11pm-7:30am

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT FOR RN PROGRAMS!

Licensed Practical Nurses Duties Include:

• Recording health details of Residents; including vitals & temperature.
• Administering medications and injections to Residents as needed.
• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed.
• May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Helps Residents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene.
• Monitors Residents’ food and liquid intake and output.

Requirements:

• Current NY State LPN License
