Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking licensed practical nurses (LPN) to provide compassionate post-acute care in our established facility. We offer top pay with weekly and daily pay options, and immediate hiring.

Shifts available: day and night; full-time and part-time positions. As an LPN, you will administer medications, assist with admissions and discharges, document care, educate residents and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure DOH

Qualifications

• Must possess an LPN nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Must hold a current LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or post-acute settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge of residents.
• Document resident care in medical records and departmental records.

Available Shifts: Day shift, Night Shift

Full Time and Part Time positions available.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties Include:

• Medication administration and treatments.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharging of residents
• Document resident care services by charting in resident medical record and department records.
• Educate residents regarding treatment, rehabilitation, change of status, etc… as well as family members.
• Adhering to infection control policies and procedures as well as all other facility policies and procedures.
• Consult with resident’s physician regarding resident’s plan of care as well as notifying them of any changes.
• Maintain resident’s confidentiality and privacy.
• Assure quality of care by adhering to DOH standards of practice and facility standards of care.
• Assist with solving resident’s problems by working with the interdisciplinary team.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

The Nurse must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN nursing program.
