Job summary

Lutheran Services Carolinas in Asheville, NC is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Aston Park community. This role involves administering medications, monitoring resident conditions, and coordinating care with and supervising a nursing team.

We offer a $10,000 signing bonus, flexible schedules (7a–7p or 7p–7a), base pay $31/hour plus shift differentials, daily pay option, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, life and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program or college.
• Current LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
• CPR certification or willingness to complete it.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience as an LPN.

Responsibilities

• Administering and documenting medication and treatments accurately.
• Maintaining the security of drug rooms and ensuring proper storage.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in residents’ conditions.
• Carrying out various nursing procedures, including catheter care, dressing changes, and administering respiratory treatments.
• Supervising the nursing team and fostering a supportive environment.

Work Environment
