The Employee Connect is helping a leading regional healthcare provider in Asheville, NC recruit Licensed Practical Nurses for on-site roles across day, evening, and night shifts. They offer full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules with strong team support and a pathway for growth.

New nurses receive structured orientation with a nurse preceptor, and continuing education opportunities are available to advance toward RN. A stable home base and a resident-centered culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice or an eligible compact license.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• One year or more of long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Working knowledge of electronic health records and medication administration systems.
• Ability to pass a background check and health screening.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work some weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Commitment to resident dignity, privacy, and person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and facility policy.
• Complete resident assessments, monitor changes in condition, and report concerns to the RN supervisor and provider.
• Perform wound care, catheter care, injections, and other skilled nursing procedures within LPN scope.
• Supervise and support CNAs on the assigned unit to ensure care is delivered safely and on time.
• Document assessments, medication administration, and care in the electronic health record.
• Participate in care planning, admission, and discharge processes.
• Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, therapy, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow infection control, fall prevention, and resident rights standards.
• Take part in shift reports, audits, and ongoing clinical education.
• Mentor newer CNAs and nurses and model professional, resident-centered care.
• Maintain medication carts, supplies, and treatment records in compliance with regulations

Benefits & Pay

Pay: $31.00 - $39.00 per hour, based on experience and schedule.
