Job summary

Laurels of Fulton in Perrinton, MI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to oversee and coordinate resident care during shifts under the Director of Nursing. You will supervise CNAs, plan and direct work to meet resident needs, and serve as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care.
• Current state license to practice as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
