Clinton House Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. You will work under the Director of Nursing to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, and to maintain high-quality resident care.

This role emphasizes leadership, accurate charting, medication administration, and collaboration with inter-departmental staff to create a warm, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current state license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing assistants and supervise shift activities.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered.
• Document charts and reports for admissions, transfers, discharges.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy; ensure privacy during care.
• Assist with routine nursing tasks and ensure safety regulations are followed.
