Job summary

State of Maryland's MDH Holly Center in Salisbury seeks an LPN Lead to provide shift-level clinical oversight and coordinate care for residents with developmental disabilities. You will take charge of service delivery and supervise a team of LPN I & II nurses and direct care staff.

The role requires three years of LPN experience and an active Maryland Practical Nurse license. Candidates may substitute US military nursing service.

Qualifications

• Education: Determined by the Maryland Board of Nursing under the licensing requirements for Practical Nurses.
• Experience: Three years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Note: Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Nursing classifications or Nursing or Health Care Specialist specialty codes in the Nursing field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
• Licenses, Registrations and Certifications: Current license as a Practical Nurse from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Special Requirements: Call-in capability and substance abuse testing as per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, shift-level clinical oversight and care coordination for residents with developmental disabilities.
• Take charge of service delivery for residents.
• Lead a team of LPN I & II nurses as well as direct care staff.
• Maintain required CPR certification and comply with relevant licensure rules.
