Advocate Health in Concord, NC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a busy medical office. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, perform venipuncture and help manage visits with a care team.

The role requires current LPN licensure, BLS, and prior medical office experience; duties include triage, documentation in EMR, and adherence to CLIA and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current license to practice in the applicable state.
• Graduate of an Accredited School of practical nursing.
• BLS certification per policy guidelines; prior medical office experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide nursing care or arrange appropriate care within scope of practice.
• Document all patient care in the medical record (EMR).
• Triaging by telephone, obtain data, give instructions per protocol.
• Track lab and diagnostic tests and present results to provider.
• Pre-visit planning with provider and care team.
• Medication administration, including injections.
• Check vital signs and patient metrics.
• Assist with reviewing medication history and updates.
• Assist during procedures and maintain sterile setup.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens for tests.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, TJC, DFS and safety standards.
