Premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley is seeking a dedicated LPN for the In Office Dispensing (IOD) Navigator role in Poughkeepsie, NY. You will support pharmacists with prescription processing, medication preparation, inventory management, and patient interactions.

The position emphasizes compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, DSCSA, and state/federal regulations, with a base hourly range of $30.00–$36.00 and a 40-hour work week in a clinical outpatient setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active state LPN licensure required.
• 1–2 years pharmacy technician experience preferred but not required.
• BLS certification preferred (if applicable).

Responsabilidades

• Receive and process new and refill prescription requests.
• Enter prescription information into the pharmacy management system.
• Prepare medications for pharmacist verification and label prescriptions.
• Ensure prescription accuracy prior to dispensing.
• Perform insurance benefit investigations and prior authorizations.
• Assist patients with prescription pick-up and inquiries.
• Coordinate refill requests with providers and educate patients on new prescriptions.
• Navigate EMR records to ensure the plan of care is followed.
