Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Current unrestricted Ohio LPN license.
• Active BLS certification.
• Two years of clinical experience; primary care, triage, care coordination preferred.
• Experience with Epic or EHRs is preferred.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• In-basket management of patient messages, refill requests, and internal team communications.
• Prioritize messages by clinical urgency and follow established protocols.
• Respond to patients within scope using approved protocols and provider guidance.
• Escalate to providers or triage RN when needed and ensure timely follow-up.
• Support by preparing and pending orders (refills, labs) per protocol.
• Document interactions accurately in the EHR and maintain privacy standards.
• Participate in team huddles and quality improvement initiatives.
