Job summary

Inspira Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide nursing care across multiple locations. The role includes a rotating schedule with shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday starting in the morning, and may involve travel using own vehicle.

The LPN will perform vital signs, blood draws, immunizations, injections, and EKGs, under physician supervision and Inspira policies. State licensure and CPR certification are required, with prior clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN licensed in the state of New Jersey.
• At least 1 year of LPN experience; clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical practice setting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under physician supervision and clinical services manager.
• Perform vital signs, routine blood draws, injections, immunizations, and point-of-care testing.
• Execute EKGs and use medical equipment per Inspira policies and procedures.
• Update EMR records and maintain documentation standards.

*This position includes travel to multiple locations using own vehicle.**Schedule is Tuesday 7AM-2:30PM, Wednesday 7AM-2:30PM, Thursday 7AM-1:30PM.A nonexempt position responsible for nursing care under the supervision of physicians and clinical services manager. May be responsible for basic clinical tasks including but not limited to, vital signs, routine blood draws, immunization, injections, point of care testing, and EKG’s and provides care that is consistent with Inspira policies and external regulations and requirements.Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Graduation from an approved practical nursing program.Minimum one year of LPN experience; clinical experience preferred.Experience in a medical practice environment strongly preferred.Certification/Licensure:State-licensed practical nurse.American Heart Healthcare Provider CP.Knowledge & Skills:Able to operate multi-line phone system, update and modify EMR records on computer, understand medical charting, able to operate stethoscope, echocardiography (EKG) machine, ear-washing instruments, blood pressure cuff, speculums, and other nursing items.May involve use of walkers, wheelchairs, pulse oximetry, and oxygen tanks.Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. Familiarity with health care systems, regulations, policies, and functions. Understanding of documentation standards.Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and materials needed for medical treatment.
