Job summary

Inspira Health in Mullica Hill, NJ is seeking an LPN to join our nursing team. Under RN direction, you will provide patient care within the scope of practice for LPNs, assisting with newborns to geriatrics and supporting complex treatments.

You will be an integral part of the nursing team and help care for patients with varying needs. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an approved practical nursing program, and current NJ State Board of Nursing registration

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an approved practical nursing program.
• Minimum one year of LPN experience; clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical practice environment strongly preferred.
• Current registration with New Jersey State Board of Nursing; BLS required.
• ACLS recommended within one year.
• 4 hours of stroke education required annually.

MAJOR FUNCTION:Under the direction of the Registered Nurse performs those patient care activities for which the/she has been prepared within the scope of the law and functions as in integral part of the nursing team. Works with the registered nurse in caring for critically ill patients; and those requiring detailed instruction, or complex treatments. These may include the following - newborn, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.
