Job summary

Centra Health in Central Virginia seeks an experienced LPN to provide bedside nursing in a magnet-designated unit serving medically complex patients with extended hospitalization, respiratory support, and at-bed dialysis using TABLO machines for enhanced patient comfort.

You will collaborate with RNs and the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while ensuring patient safety and adherence to Centra policies.

Qualifications

• Education Minimum: Completion of accredited LPN training program.
• Work Experience Minimum: At least one year of Nursing (LPN) experience.
• Operating and monitoring basic and specialized medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of licensed medical practitioner or nurse.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Administer medications following Centra policy.
• Document patient assessments and responses to care.
