Job summary

Mercy is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed prescriber or RN. You will coordinate with multiple departments, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality while upholding Mercy standards.

Candidates may be new or experienced, with licensure in the hiring state and BLS certification. High school diploma or GED is required, and some certifications may be completed after hire as per state rules.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current license in the hiring state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• LPN-IV Certification must be completed or started within 3 months of hire (state requirements).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision of a licensed clinician.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain professional accountability and align with Mercy mission and service standards.
