Qualifications

• Possession of a valid LPN license issued by the IL DFPF.
• Six months of nursing experience in a health care facility.
• Current AHA BLS/CPR and other required unit-specific certifications.
• Effective communication skills to facilitate therapeutic relationships.
• Intermediate computer skills with EMR proficiency.
• Excellent attendance and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostic procedures and record subjective and objective findings.
• Administer medications and injections; perform IV therapy as directed.
• Communicate with patients to assess emotional and mental well-being.
• Chart and report nursing care activities and observations.
• Maintain medication records and safeguard controlled substances.
• Participate in daily rounds, audits, and quality assurance initiatives.
