Job summary

Volunteers of America Southeast, Inc. is hiring an LPN in Hartselle, AL to provide direct nursing services within the IDD program. The role includes health monitoring, documentation, and staff training in compliance with ADMH, CMS, and the Nurse Delegation Program.

The LPN will conduct health assessments, manage medications, and ensure regulatory standards are met. Must hold a current Alabama LPN license, MAS test, and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with MAC staff oversight

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license issued by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ABON Medication Assistance Supervision (MAS) test completed.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in IDD or community-based care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing health assessments and document findings.
• Provide nursing services as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
• Train and supervise MAC staff per NDP guidelines and act on health needs.
• Coordinate medical appointments and follow physician orders.
