Job summary

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an adult IDD group home in Vineland, NJ. The LPN will transport residents to and from day services, provide direct nursing care, and perform light household duties as part of a team.

The role requires an active NJ LPN license, valid NJ driver’s license, auto insurance, and background clearances. Experience with IDD and/or mental illness is preferred. Part-time night and weekend shifts are listed (Thu 11pm-7am; Sat 3pm-11pm).

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey LPN license.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Criminal background clearance.
• Clearance through Central Registry of Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities (N.J.A.C. 10:44D).
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Record temperature, weight and blood pressure.
• Provide direct care and nursing services, including injections and tube feeding as prescribed.
• Administer medications and assist with personal hygiene, nutrition and activities.
• Assist with doctor appointments and community activities.
• Document care in the internal system and monitor health records.
