Salary: $38 - $40 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare in Baltimore is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with an Adult patient in their own home.

The patient is a 55-year-old male with a gtube, trach, vent, and ALS located in Reisterstown, 21136. Shifts are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday day shifts 7a-7p and Saturday and Sunday night shifts 7p-7a.

Must be able to work ongoing and have prior vent experience.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred.
