Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients in Timberville, Virginia. The role offers hourly pay and weekly compensation with full benefits options.

Ideal candidates are currently licensed in the state, have a current TB test or chest X-ray, and a current BLS card. While one year of nursing experience is preferred, new graduates may also apply if they meet the licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
