Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Lee's Summit, MO is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. Full Time, Part Time, and PRN positions available.

Hourly pay ranges from $32 to $36 per hour. Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; providing skilled nursing services per orders; monitoring signs and symptoms; collecting and documenting data and nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the practice state.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care in the patient’s home per physician orders.
• Monitor signs and symptoms and document nursing diagnoses.
• Collect, analyze, and communicate patient data among care team.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
