Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Wyandotte County, Kansas City, KS is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide home-based care for pediatric and/or adult patients. You will use the nursing process to assess and deliver high-quality care in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• BLS certification current.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
