Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Pittsburg, KS is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric home health care. The position offers full-time, part-time, and PRN options with hourly pay of $32–$36 and weekly paychecks.

You will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care under prescribed orders, maintain patient data, and communicate with families and care teams. Required: KS LPN license, TB test or Chest X-Ray, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as an LPN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS certificate valid.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and information from health care members; identify nursing diagnoses.
