Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring an LPN to work with patients in the comfort of their own homes in Asheville, NC. The role is full-time or part-time, with day or night shifts and weekdays or weekends, and offers hourly compensation.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, delivering skilled nursing care per orders, and monitoring patient data. Requirements include active LPN/LVN license in the state, TB or chest X-ray, BLS, and about one year of nursing experience

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
